Santosh Bhartiya

Every once in
a while, from the bowels of chaos rises a knight armored by his courage, perseverance, and will to become an instrument of change.

Santosh Bhartiya a young correspondent of 20 years uncovered the struggle of people in the UP, Bihar, and Central India under the horrors of the most notorious dacoit gangs in 80’s. He is the man who visited Kashmir during the recent inflammatory times and brought to fore the state of its people post the scrapping of the article 370. Santosh Bhartiya is the journalist whose bold news gathering has been responsible for over 600 breaking stories in India. Stories that would have remained untold had Santosh Bhartiya not dug in meticulously, layer after layer into the lies and deceit to expose the ghastly truth. TRUTH is his foremost obligation, and he has upheld his credibility by discharging his prime responsibility to the common man. Santosh Bhartiya’s multidimensional legacy is more evident and powerful than any journalist in the past fifty years. Every once in a while, from the bowels of chaos rises a knight armored by his courage, perseverance, and will to become an instrument of change. Santosh Bhartiya’s force was nurtured and given a purpose in the ‘Total Revolution of 1974’. He initiated a movement which is famously known in Indian history as DAAM BANDHO ANDOLAN along with three more of his friends which later tuned into the great J P MOVEMENT . Loknayak Jay Prakash Narayan had inspired then the students to rise against the prevalent corruption and misrule in the Bihar of 1974. It was a call for justice, for change, and for dignity. J P channelled the rebel inside Bhartiya to serve a cause bigger than any man, political party, or government. He steered Bhartiya’s passion and integrity towards journalism. Soon after the ‘Emergency’ was withdrawn in the early 1977, the Loknayak gave him the ‘pen’ and said, ‘Indian system needs direction, let your pen enable the voices of the common man to be heard in the corridors of power.’ With the uncompromising ideals of the ‘total revolution’ embedded in his spirit, Santosh Bhartiya entered journalism and challenged the forces responsible for the political and social degeneration of the country. Today, every time Santosh Bhartiya’s pen writes, the governments tremble. Over the next decade Santosh Bhartiya became the most distinguished journalist, and in the years that followed, he became a beacon for his peers and a multitude of youngsters who took inspiration from his work and techniques. In this Digital & Social Media Era Santosh Bhartiya’s personal and professional integrity makes him one of the few Indian journalists who conduct their investigative analysis and present the truth without fear or favour. He delivers accurate, fair, and thorough information to the public domain, so the values of democracy and justice can be upheld. His presence on Loud India TV a media OTT has gained popularity over the time. In the times of effervescent fame, Santosh Bhartiya’s work remains timeless.
